This could be dangerous, but I have an idea

So, I was writing up a post about my recent holiday to France with Tom and was mentioning a particular restaurant that we enjoyed, when it occurred to me that I should write a review about it as a separate post. I then realised there were a few places that I'd like to write a review about individually, rather than just putting them all together in one post. Sounds simple enough.

But then I had an idea. Maybe I should create a section of my blog dedicated to reviews from my travels. I've been to a few places around the world, and maybe other people will go to those places too and it would be interesting to read my tips and reviews. So my question is, would people like that, or does that not interest you?

It won't be a regular feature, but occasionally I can add to it to create my own little travel guide. Whether it's a nice place I visited down the road, to London, to a foreign country, I think it will be nice to document my opinions and recommendations.

I love hearing about other people's recommendations and always carry out loads of research before I go anywhere. And I don't know about anyone else, but personally I listen to a friend's advice over information found in a book or online. So what do you think, good idea or not?

Nothing completes an evening in like a cosy blanket

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the blog front lately but as some of you may know, I went on holiday with my boyfriend and only arrived home late last night. I had a wonderful time and there will be a blog post up about it soon enough.

But for now I want to talk about Autumn. Possibly my favourite season of the year. And for me this time, it's all about the chunky knits.

Don't these picture makes you want to cuddle up with a cup of tea (or glass of wine) and a good film. I'd really like a big chunky knit blanket, but the lovely world wide web tells me that it could set me back by around £100. Damn student living.

So until I win the lottery (or one of my lovely readers donates me the money? Just kidding) I guess my university hoodie and £4 Primark blanket will have to do

September is here, and that means food and shopping

Anyone else excited September is here? Autumn is my favourite season and I'm super excited about going back to uni and seeing my housemates. The arrival of September also means that I'll be heading off to France on Holiday with my boyfriend soon, so if I'm not blogging thats why.

Today I went to Bluewater Shopping Mall with the female members of my family. The first stop (like always) was lunch at Wagamama.

I had Chicken and Prawn Udon Noodles. It was delicious. One of my favourite meals at Wagamama. My sister had never had it before so she went for it too. My sister and mum both had noodle soups.

Sadly I was on a budget (student saving) so I only bought a few neccessary items. The first were some Leigh jeans from Topshop to replace my ones that are ripping, and the second was a jumper from H&M to keep me warm. Sorry, I can't find a link

I also found a beautiful skirt in Urban Outfitters which I'm in love with and think might find it's way onto my birthday list. Again, I can't find it online, but whilst looking I found these beautiful ones: herehere and here

And I also bought a present for my friend's birthday which is coming up this month, though I can't share what it is incase he reads this. But here's the teaser photo I sent him..

Not the most exciting trip in terms of shopping but I had a great day with my sisters and mum. Hope you all had a good beginning of September too.
