Just a glimpse of what I have on my nails at the moment. I'm trying out the 'different colour on the ring finger' look and I have to say, I like :)

Nails: Rimmel London, Lasting Finish (Colour, 198 Azure)

Helpful Hugo: How to restore an old nail varnish

I don't know where it was that I first heard this tip, but I think it's so incredibly simple, yet useful, and worth sharing. Don't you hate it when you go to use a nail varnish you haven't used in a while and it's gone all clumpy and doesn't apply as easily as it once did? Well, pop a few drops of nail polish remover in your nail varnish, shake well and voila! Good as new nail varnish :)

My first Glossybox

I have been so excited for my Glossybox to arrive. I'd heard so many good reviews and couldn't wait to receive my own little (or not so little in this case) box of goodies.

I was not disappointed with the products and can't wait to try them all out. The box even included a complimentary compact mirror and balloon to celebrate Glossybox's first birthday. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY Glossybox.

Eldora False Eyelashes: I have never actually used false eyelashes before, but have heard some really good things about this brand. I have to admit that the style I was sent are definitely not for me. They are particularly long and thick, and I would prefer something more subtle and natural. But I will try to cut these lashes down a bit and use them as practise lashes. If they last, and I like the feel of them, then I would consider buying some more from this brand. I have also read in reviews that their human hair lashes are better than the dark synthesis lashes, and worth the extra pound.

Neal’s Yard Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture: Neal’s Yard is a brand that I am familiar with as I already have their Facial Wash. I was really excited when I first saw the moisturiser, until I realised that the product was for normal skin. I suffer with oily skin so tend to steer away from skin products that aren’t specifically for my skin type. However, I gave this moisturiser to my sister and she loves it.

Lolita Lempicka Perfume: The two perfume samples I was sent were L’Eau en Blanc and Eau de Parfum. I liked how both of them smelt, but preferred Eau de Parfum (the blue bottle). I find myself repurchasing the same perfumes I own once they run out, which consists mainly of Calvin Klein Eternity, and Gucci Rush. It is going to take a perfume I really love to make me change my habits, and I don’t think these perfumes are quite up to scratch.

Noble Isle Bath & Shower Gel: I love the smell of this product, and it left my skin feeling really smooth and soft afterwards. For £20 it’s a bit on the expensive side of me but I would consider putting it on a birthday or Christmas list.

Collection 2000 Gel Eyeliner: I have never used gel eyeliner before and found it a bit trickier to apply than liquid eyeliner. Hopefully I shall get better with practise as I liked the look of the product on my eyes and am pleased that it came in a brown colour as I’ve only got black eyeliners.

Overall I was thrilled with my Glossybox and would recommend it to everybody. I can't wait for the next one!
