It's been pretty hectic this week. Exams are coming up and all of my time is being spent either revising or sleeping. Not much time for fun. However, it will all be over soon and I know that I'll miss university loads when I've finished. In the mean time, here are some little things that I've enjoyed recently.

The tree in my garden
Round the back of my house, in my garden, is a tree. It is a huge tree, 60 ft intact. It's been here ever since we moved into the house, which was 17 years ago. When my youngest sister was born, my mum used to put her outside in the shade of the tree to play when it was warm. My other sister and I used to build obstacle courses around the tree and used it as 'home' or 'base' in multiple games when friends came over. It was home to lots of birds and pesky squirrels.

Saturday -- my day in numbers
Saturday was a great day. Tom drove up late on Friday, so I had all of Saturday with him. The weather was fab and we wanted to make the most of it. Plus I felt like I deserved a day off from university work. So here is my Saturday, in numbers.

Book Recommendation: Before I go to Sleep

Memories define us. So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep? Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love—all forgotten overnight. And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story. Welcome to Christine's life.

I'm back!
Wow, well that was a long break!
It's been nearly a month since I last blogged, which is by far the longest break I've taken from blogging by a long long way. But it was a much needed break. And it wasn't that I stopped enjoying blogging (because I seriously love it) but life just got in the way, and by life, I mean university work. I didn't have time to create posts that were to a standard I was happy with. I didn't want to write just any old thing. I love my blog, and I love the content. Heck, I haven't had a proper chance to sit down and read any blogs recently.
